A conversation with

HAL-exa

For this project, we were instructed to create a ~45 second second video with an audio track, comprised of found footage and audio, giving the feel of a fantastical "other world" or an altered state of consciousness (dream, vision, hallucination, etc.).

An important distinction was made between our video and a narrative. We were not constructing an explicit storyline, but rather through the use of artistry we would create a distinct mood or impression upon the audience.  The audio track was also to be heavily edited. Most importantly, we were instructed to not feature any one appropriated source too heavily.
