For this assignment, we were tasked with creating a collage depicting an imaginary landscape, through the combination of photographic, scanned, digital drawings, or other graphic elements into one primary composition. We completed this project using compositing tools discussed in class provided by Adobe Photoshop.

 

Our main focus was to create an internally coherent image, with consistent resolution and applies thoughtful consideration of contrasting texture, scale, and space, as well as incorporating pattern and repetition. We were required to use at least one texture image, meaning that this image was not representational but was used to add texture to a part of the overall composition. 

 

Most importantly, we needed to make sure we did not use too much of any one image- all appropriated images needed to be significantly altered.
